I am not someone who loves flowers but I have a special connection to sunflowers. This is because I associate this with being a victim of sexual assault. The sunflower is used to represent this as it is a sign to say it is okay to look towards the light and allow yourself to be happy again. Never to let what has happened end our life or ruin our life but we will use it and turn the bad in to good. To always help others where able.
